As we attempt to switch servers, it has become obvious that more space and more bandwidth will definitely cost more money. As this site is non-official, all funds so far have been inquired by the hobbyists, whom we owe gratitude to. There are companies that will pay for ads posted on the webpage to relive some of the cost, however, since most such companies will only pay for US related sites, we don’t qualify.
How feasible is it to find perhaps Romanian companies to sponsor this web page. We were thinking to include a 468X60 banner ad in the design (non pop-up) to raise as little as US$ 10 – 20 per month. It’s simple, if we only find one sponsor; their ad will remain on the page 100% of the time and would cost them the full US$10 – 20 per month. If there were say 10 sponsors, the ads will rotate at a frequency of 30 seconds thus giving them an equal exposure of 10% of the time and it would cost them only US$1 – 2 per month. So the question is, would anyone be interested in sponsoring the page, do any of you know if that’s even feasible or if you know any companies interested? We are looking to spend at most US$ 20/month. It is not much, but the idea was that if we can somehow generate the US$ 20/month from a single banner ad, then it’s even better.

Am sa incerc sa iau legatura cu cateva persoane pe care le cunosc si care au firme maricele. In cam doua saptamani cred ca voi avea un raspuns! Daca nu, contributiile personale mi se pare cea mai buna varianta! Si sa platim pentru un an de zile in avans!
Yes, we will be paying the server on a yearly service, but I quoted what it would come out per month. It would be a great idea to have merchandise for sale. It’s difficult to acquire the jerseys or other memorabilia here, but we could take orders and have you guys ship them out, stuff like that would be great.

good idea … hard to do … as per the Romanian legislation in force individuals are not allowed to perform import/export operations on a commercial basis … so you guys can’t do this (as individuals) … however, there is an option for the association (if there will be one) to perform commercial activities (including sales abroad) but not for profit tax purposes.
I’m not sure what the rules are in Romania, we are deffinetly allowed to sell merchandise here, and if we sell it here and you guys just ship it, I’m not sure if that’s actually going against any laws of export/import… perhaps though.

unfortunately, if we want to legally ship something to Canada or to another abroad destination we will have to perform customs clearance formalities in Romania … and we have to follow the above explained rules here

Pai in cazul asta poate ar fi mai bine daca am face ceva si cu asociatia suporterilor. Daca am avea o asociatie a suporterilor nu s-ar putea atunci “exporta” tricouri in strainatate? Noi oricum putem stipula pe site ca acest site NU este site oficial ci al suporterilor, sau ma rog a acestei asociatii a suporterilor. Nu putem sa ne descurcam in felul asta? Sugestii?
A fi bine sa avem pe noul site o sectiune separata cu alte sporturi: Hochei, Baschet, Gimnastica Ritmica etc. Cu fotografii, filme, stiri, rezultate, palmares samd.
Cel putin la gimnastica ritmica Gabi cred ca este doctor si poate pune la dispozitie tot materialul necesar.
Am sa ma mai gandesc la structura si detalii
