Claudiu Keseru put Romania in front
New Romania coach Florin Marin enjoyed a successful start to his reign as goals from Claudiu Andrei Keseru and debutant Costin Curelea gave his team a 2-0 win in a hard-fought encounter against the Netherlands and kept them at the top of UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying Group 1.

La o zi după meciul cu Olanda, atacantul Costin Curelea trăia încă emoţiile victoriei. “Mă bucur că am reuşit un meci bun. Olandezii au intrat relaxaţi pe teren, iar noi i-am taxat. Sper ca şi în continuare să joc la fel şi să nu înşel încrederea acordată”, a spus Costin. Interesant este că fotbalistul a debutat cu gol şi în Divizia B, şi în Divizia A, ambele în tricoul Sportului, pentru ca şi la echipa naţională prima prezenţă să aducă de la sine un gol.
